[Event: moveto] Check if on Village
I've been working on one of the scenarios for Untold Tales: Darkened Skies and I've come into a situation where I would like to be able to determine if a unit has moved onto a village via the moveto event of WML. I'll browsed through the WML wiki and haven't found much about identifying what kind of...

Re: Best ASCII Text Editor
If you're using Windows, I suggest Notepad++ http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/site.htm Download Installer If you're using a Macintosh computer, I liked using the Carbon Emacs http://homepage.mac.com/zenitani/emacs-e.html As for Linix distributions, I liked using XEmacs, but I haven't used Linu...

Re: Unit creation using variables
I'm double-posting because I found a fix for my problem. I'm not sure if this is how it is supposed to work, but by placing my $($varTurnik.y + 1) inside quotes, it gives me the correct value and everything plays out perfectly!

Unit creation using variables
Alright guys, I've been trying to fix this all day. I've changed this probably thirty or forty times and it's quite frustrating. To start off, my goal is to store a unit so I can get its location and then use that location to spawn a unit next to it; however, my unit that I want to spawn does not ap...

Re: A Forgotten Enemy
Well, I'm requesting this topic to be deleted because of three reasons: 1) Espreon doesn't want me to work on the Eastern lands 2) People seem confused about my idea or don't care about it 3) The biggest one is that, as turin said, there seems to be a much bigger plot I missed I still plan to incorp...

Re: A Forgotten Enemy
I thought it might have a reference to something else, which is why I had this explanation in mind: Mal-Ravanal seems to be the main focus of the events to the east at that time. I labeled the campaign "A Forgotten Enemy" just in case of this. I have one option to explain why the Manshesin...

Re: A Forgotten Enemy
If you can tell me where you are expanding, I can go around it. But, what I really need right now is an answer to a few of my history questions.

Re: A Forgotten Enemy
Does it include the Eastern lands? Well, I was planning to use part of the giant map if I had to in order to not mess up the storyline. I also wanted to expand further east, if possible, in order to not completely limit my campaign.

A Forgotten Enemy
Alright, well, no one remembers me because I contributed literally nothing. After all of my time away, I remembered Wesnoth and began to think of one of my older ideas for a campaign. Before I start, I need some help from more knowledgeable members who can give me help with the history of Wesnoth. I...

Adding a new attack
I'm a bit confused from the wiki instructions.
When I am making a new attack using the object tags, do I use the same text as when editing an attack (set_name=blah), or do I type everything (including the animations and using things such as name=blah) for the attack?

The odd things is that, once I had added that coding (which is supposed to be outside of the #ifdef - #endif lines, right?), the image still didn't appear (I varied the pathway multiple times and spent well over 30 minutes on it). However, this isn't my greatest concern at the moment. So far, I've g...

Well, I've decided to go ahead and start making the campaign despite the lack of feedback (which is why I doubleposted). The only thing I'm really confused about making a campaign is the textdomain (which hopefully I can work on). Here is a picture I made in paint that should represent my campaign i...
