Re: Legend of the Invincibles
hard to replicate. i dont have a save file either. it does happen in between, in the menu. i cant describe it better. it just gets lost. if u dis-equip it beforhand everything is good. but jut just re-equipping it will result in fail.

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
so right. i was stupid. sorry.
edit: not SOOOO stupid actually. if i craft a polearm and exchange it right away the spear disappears into nothingness. if i dis-equip it beforehand i can store it in the item storage. maybe its my stupidity again, but i guess something is not working 100% there ...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
hi, is it just me or if a geared unit with special weapons advances normally during a scenario, stats are not calculated correctly and weapon specials not taken over? for example i just advanced a spearman to a hellebardier with a konrad's might spear and all of a sudden he lost all dmg bonus and ma...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
well, i did not state my point clearly. my fault, sorry. it was about your campaign being hard. or being easy. the difference between certain scenarios is tough to manage. Sometimes it takes like 2 or 3 approaches to finally get to the point of a scenario. just to realize 2-3 scenarios later that u ...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles

Re: The Great War
hi, my two cents about liches: as mentioned earlier canon says there werent't any in wesnoth at that time. which does not have to be bad, because we know that there will later be liches and maybe - nobody tells anything about that - there were already liches earlier which for some reason (maybe the ...

Re: Invasion from the Unknown (1.70.0) for Wesnoth 1.7/1.8 ONLY
hi, once again playing IftU, this time on BfW 1.7.6. got to "Over the Sands" and encountered no problems so far except the alternate ending of this scenario leading to the mountain pass not triggering. i am not that good with WML but i'd guess it's something with the filter for the movemen...

Re: 1.7/1.8 SP Campaign: Bad Moon Rising 0.8.9
May I ask for your start-of-scenario savefile? see attachment on "All Dreams Die I + II": very good finale, good story, bitter ending (i still like it a lot, not all stories end well for the heroes). just two things, in the first part it is very easy to help Belleros with Raenna by just b...

Re: 1.7/1.8 SP Campaign: Bad Moon Rising 0.8.9
more on part3: -"Seeking Shelter": not much to do there actually, outrun the normal primevals, sacrifice units to Nemesis, move your leader -"Snowblind": excellent and pretty hard scenario, i like it very much, triggering the yetis in moments so that they fight the primevals is j...

Re: 1.7/1.8 SP Campaign: Bad Moon Rising 0.8.9
part3 "The Pit - Revisited": this is also one of the scenarios where things can go very wrong turnwise. if you know what is to come and played it already everything is easy. you would send two dogs or so south to capture villages while concentrating the rest of available force to break the...

Re: 1.7/1.8 SP Campaign: Bad Moon Rising 0.8.9
finally through with part2, also very good and no real bugs found except for some dialogue especially in "New Home" that should only trigger if the character already appeared. if you wait until turn 14 with killing the lich you'll get very funny event- and dialogue firing. about "Ruin...

Re: 1.7/1.8 SP Campaign: Bad Moon Rising 0.8.9
hi, in part 1, "Unbreakable", a ghost levelled to wraith will return as shadow when killed. intentional? edit: for some reason completely unknown suddenly a levelling dialogue appears which lets me choose what the unit should become. strange. playing on BfW 1.7.6, default difficulty. edit2...

Re: The Fall of Wesnoth Campaign version 0.0.12 released
then again, its supposed to be a medium difficulty campaign, so if you're playing it on easy and you're a good player, it might seem easier to you than it really is ah, didn't play on easy (i never do, spoils the fun). default difficulty is medium. medium on a medium campaign should result in overa...

Re: The Fall of Wesnoth Campaign version 0.0.12 released
hi again, played current version on BfW 1.7.6, default difficulty. i could not find any bugs so far and i like the concept. but balancing is far out. -"And so it begins": good idea, medium difficulty fighting the orcs off if you do it right from the start. send quick units to grab all vill...

Re: Rebellion During the Dark Age
hmmm, restarted at "Dan Tonk" upgraded to your current version, still i can't see Allora's icon. cure: replacing every occurrance of "human-commander+female" with "human-commanderess" in her unit.cfg and my save-files. looks like you changed the icon names to not includ...
