Re: Crashing when I switch screens
I don't check forums often so sorry for the late reply. But I just wonder if the issues you're having may be from possible hardware and/or driver issues? I find Wesnoth's toggling between windowed and full-screen mode very smooth on Plasma. That's for both Wesnoth 1.16 and 1.18. The issues with wind...

Re: Crash changing resolution
This sounds like https://github.com/wesnoth/wesnoth/issues/5518. It's been a few months since this was reported, though, so I'm guessing it's no longer an issue but of course please report if it is.

Re: Graphic Boost
My understanding is that the interpolation options have been removed in more recent versions - they used to be in the Advanced Preferences, if I recall correctly.

Re: 1.17.13 Appcrash (Windows 7)
SDL team has resolved the zero width/height issue, so when that's included in the next SDL release (some time in April) and we include it in our next release, this issue should be resolved. I assume this isn't a crippling bug for you (unless you're using Windows desktop view frequently).

Re: 1.17.13 Appcrash (Windows 7)
After some investigation, I'm inclined to think the issue is with how SDL calculates the width and height of its renderer objects when Windows is in its desktop view mode, starting with SDL 2.24.0. I couldn't replicate the crash in Wesnoth 1.17.13, if I dropped SDL 2.0.22 DLL in its installation ins...

Re: Program stops responding when on enemy AI in certain mission
I wasn't able to load the save game in 1.16.5 since I don't have the same modifications installed and I get an invalid terrain message against Gll^Fdfr (should normally be just Gll^Fdf). It looks like the breeze modification is doing something to the terrains. Also your save file and error log menti...

Re: Assertion failed! on startup (Steam)
Interesting. I presume the drive that lets Wesnoth work is NTFS? I wonder what it was about FAT32 that it didn't like - I don't see anything prohibitive about the path used for Wesnoth data in the original post.

Re: [mainline] there is a need for a en_US translation
There is no change in meaning, the new text being actually harder to understand for average people knowing English as a foreign language. The underlying meaning may not have changed, but I believe this particular revision was part of a deliberate campaign-wide revision/rewrite on nemaara's part. Pe...

Re: 1.17 (and future) SP content development plans
I can see the similarities between Eastern Invasion and Delfador's Memoirs. The latter is obviously to set-up Delfador as a mage of great repute, but I thought in the grand over-arching story of Wesnoth Eastern Invasion was supposed to precede the reconstruction or the 'Silver Age' of Wesnoth, follo...

In case anyone else runs into this I've logged: https://github.com/wesnoth/wesnoth/issues/6171
Same symptoms, albeit different exception in the logs.

Re: Armory Mod - Sp/Mp mod
Greetings. I'm not sure if it's necessarily your add-on that's responsible but when I scroll to it in the add-on manager for 1.15 I get the following message (twice) in the error log: error display: ~BLIT(): image not found: 'units/dunefolk/blademaster.png' The image appears to have been moved to un...

Re: Scenario Review - EI: Captured
I haven't tested it yet but the updates with release 1.12.1 sound like they should resolve the difficulties I observed in 1.12.0. Thanks.

Re: Scenario Review - EI: Captured
Easy on 1.12.0. I understand it's been rewritten as of 1.11.10 - I can't remember what the old scenario looked like as I haven't played EI since the 1.4.x release. Given that this is supposed to be easy, it was a huge step up in difficulty compared to the rest of the campaign up to this point (expl...

Re: [1.9.x/1.10.x] Legend of Wesmere
I had a feeling something like that might have happened (unit only added for experimentation). Thanks for the info, at least now I know I'm supposed to stick with the standard Elvish Riders now. (:
