Re: Djinns
We duplicate the same trait in three terms: undead/mechanical/elemental
I hardly see any value in doing this a 4th time.

Re: [Campaign] Electrifyre: An Aragwaithi Story [1.17/1.18]
So he may just be stronbow lying on ground until we get on his hex Yeah, so I did change that image to be some aragwaithi lying unconscious on the cave ground. Anyways, updates: - Scenario 6 and 7 are in development now. - plans ready for scenarios 8, 9 and 10 - alternate branch plans drafted my de...

Re: The South Guard (Revised)
So, I played through it. Here are my thoughts. It's mostly okay, but I find it that the Gerrick character and unit type has really low character value apart from being a punching bag for the enemy sides. There's no leadership anymore so calling him lieutenant, commander hardly makes senses here. Mig...

Re: Duncan's Sprite Gallery
Hmm, I really like these saurians. Might be an open slot for these guys in my campaign(s).

Re: Mainline Campaign Design [1.20 and beyond]
Legend of Wesmere [drafted, work tentative]: covers a similar plot and lore to the original Legend of Wesmere, but removes the multiplayer aspect. Important lore changes: the Ka'lian is not wiped out during the campaign, and Wesmere itself suffers significant personnel losses to keep Wesmere proper...

Re: [General Feedback] Northern Rebirth: still mainline quality?
About NR: All in all, I feel like Northern Rebirth kind of hit the breaks on my mainline campaign run and interrupted the immersion. Compared to all the shiny new mainline campaigns (except Winds of Fate, which is understandably lacking in polish due to its being so new), Northern Rebirth feels to m...

Re: AI terrain affinity
I'm creating fire elemental units. They will heal when over lava, and maybe get a damage bonus or something. I'd like to inform the AI that this unit should have an affinity for lava, but I'm not really finding anything. Best I can think of is to give the unit a good defense on unwalkable. Better i...

Re: [Campaign] Electrifyre: An Aragwaithi Story [1.17/1.18]
I nearly lost due to time on the last turn due to some diabolical RNG, but I could have tried to force a win earlier at the expense of some veterans. My actual intention was to keep difficulty like this so that you do end up losing some veterans. Since you do get "more" later. I will chec...

I also couldn't understand how spiders could lock him in cage as they are just animals That is...a bug. He's to be "barely alive" and "unconscious". The one from scenario when we search for scroll I dont think that moody faerie would wanna join you. Rather I can add it to the hi...

Re: [Campaign] Electrifyre: An Aragwaithi Story [1.17/1.18]
How about fairy joining us after doing some tasks? ;) Which fairy, my dude? There are like 4 in this campaign. I replayed the scenario (using debug to expose the AI's gold and extend the turn limit) with the same recruits but with the strategy of limiting how much gold the AI had access to at once....

Re: Two-flag system in one team
Two teams is not a good solution in this case, because you would have to move the two groups one at a time. It would make that scenario quite a bit harder. I would not say hard. It's more describable with "frustrating". Controlling two sides is vexing. Plus, in these cases, abilities like...

Re: traits
UPD2: btw, if this disengage ability is tied to every scenario in UTBS campaign, is it possible to create an analog ability with the same effect to add it to undead units? if yes can you help me please with it? I mean sure. If you can describe what you want the ability to do, I am sure me or some o...
