Re: Voyage of a Drake: an RPG

It would be "A role playing game," but I (and I think most people?) just say the letters, "Arr-Pee-Gee." That starts with a vowel sound, so "an" it is.

Re: The Rising Underworld

Another point is: why is the cave entry sooo desperately faaar? I agree, like I mentioned earlier I think I'll change the terrain and/or distance so an elvish rider can reach it in one turn less. Whenever they enter the range of an orc, have a (funny?) dialogue with their leader(s), about reinforce...

Re: Poll: Best new campaign of 2018

We only choose one, our very favorite, right?

I have played almost none of these, but I thought "A Fiery Birth" was very good.

Re: The Rising Underworld

Also, the dwarves never showed their funny faces, because the horseman I sent was human and, I had not noticed that "detail", the scout must not knock at the door, but on it, I mean standing on it, and it's a mountain hex ! That's a good point, I'll change the terrain to hills. And, main ...

Re: Voyage of a Drake: an RPG

When you buy a mug of ale, it says it heals +3. When you go to the use item menu, it says +5. Wow, I'm surprised a typo like that could still be around this long after release, thanks for letting me know! On the right side of the screen, just below where an icon would be if you were poisoned or slo...

Re: Armory Mod - Sp/Mp mod

My first thought, and probably many others' too, would be that so many available combinations of attacks causes the computations to slog through processing That was my first thought too, but if that was the case then this kind of slow down would happen in all large scenarios. I played through sever...

Re: Armory Mod - Sp/Mp mod

Thanks for reporting it and providing saves, normally that would be everything I need to figure out the problem. But with this one I really don't know where to start, I didn't mess with the ai at all in this mod and I don't know much about the ai in general. I'll mess around with the saves and look ...

Re: Great Mage Again

Here's a random idea that may or may not be good. Since high level mages are supposed to be good at bombarding enemy units, they could get a reverse-steadfast, so the mage takes reduced retaliation damage while attacking with the fireball.

Re: Voyage of a Drake: an RPG

By some random chance, I ended up next to her at the beginning of a turn, and she was marked as friendly, so I talked with her, and... she challenged me again. Restart the fight... Bug? Attaching the save file where she is standing next to me... VoaDaR-Voyage-Auto-Save534.gz/  Yup that's a b...

Re: Armory Mod - Sp/Mp mod - Black Cross of Aleron

Let me start by saying that the Armory Mod is nothing short of epic. Well done, Samonella! Wow, thanks! :D 1. When a unit levels up to Level 2, it receives a double allocation of new weapons. This applies to both standard units and units that are peculiar to "The Black Cross of Aleron." L...

Re: The Rising Underworld

I noticed. Is it really impossible to beat Glac with fresh recruits? I hate recalling experienced units for fear of losing them. The only way I beat that was by going debug and messing around with the stuff LOL. And even if I had used my best troops, they still probably would've been mostly killed ...

-as a consequence for Voadar getting caught doing something he shouldn't ... All this has a lot of potential, though it may be rather hard to implement. The thing about allowing the player to be caught/punished for misdeeds is that (to try to keep things realistic-ish) people would eventually stop ...
