Re: Campaign: Dwarven Kingdom (10 scenarios, 0.0.2 (BfW1.6.4))
hi, this time posting in the right thread. last post was due to me playing too many campaigns at the same time, again soz for that one. playing on BfW 1.6.4, default difficulty. so: first scenario, dialogue from Dulatus "quilty" should be "quality" me thinks. introduction to seco...

Re: 1.6 Campaign: A Rough Life - version 1.0.99
played current on BfW 1.6.4 with default difficulty. no flaws or errors throughout the entire campaign that i could find. very interesting twists and turns and a very inventive (and surprising) change in levelling with the main hero. only one tomatoe-surprise: running around the caves with the elvis...

Re: Campaign: Dwarven Kingdom (6 scenarios)
been playing on BfW 1.6.4 with default difficulty. after "Zyan's Counsel" i get a "the game could not be saved" and BfW crashes. well, maybe due to a missing next scenario? still, grats on this great campaign so far. very good job, keep it up.

Re: The Sojournings of Grog (1.6)
played it through on BfW 1.6.4, very nice and interesting campaign, i like the featuring of UtbS characters. besides "Homecoming" no problems, there i had to up the turn limit to 100, then it was beatable. i generally went in the direction of building up a huge troll army over time and not...

Re: Questions regarding the Northern Alliance (campaign related)
yep, the NA is a pretty tolerant bunch of folks. like "hey, just coz you're an orc doesn't make you a lesser creature". that's always been something i liked about them.

Re: 1.6.x SP campaign, Fate of a Princess
hi, finally back at it. i now was able to beat "In the Swamps". but only by increasing turns to 25 which gave me a chance to finish in turn 22 instead of the regular 20 turns. so maybe that may be the way to go. edit: so, i am at the "Hydra Cavern" where i find that bow, just ......

Re: 1.6.x SP campaign, Fate of a Princess
so I should probably add a few more on next version, shouldn't I don't think so, it's challenging, yes, but as soon as you get Ishlars whateverhisname to lvl3 you got a healer anyways which is not a big problem if you use him to guard the southern bridge and kill-off dwarfes galore Those guys are v...

Re: 1.6.x SP campaign, Fate of a Princess
to get at least one or two spearman from scenario 1 is needed lol, i got none, but almost all loyals to lvl2 Now, after the scenario, the game may be too easy for you ahhhhm, i am currently struggling with scenario 3 and i can tell, it is not too easy. i just wonder why dwarves and elfes don't figh...

Re: 1.6.x SP campaign, Fate of a Princess
Should I make it easier? i just replayed scenarios 1 and 2 from the beginning, with leadership everything is ok the way it is, in scenario 2 i even managed to kill both leaders by turn 10 and finish the same turn, i am playing on default difficulty (thinking that most people will go with the defaul...

Re: 1.6.x SP campaign, Fate of a Princess
On second scenario, players have to recruit many units in my set-up yes, after the first fruitless effort with recalling units i did the massive peasant spam. that worked better, yet the leadership is badly missing so they are not doing enough damage to really get the kills early enough to reduce t...

Re: 1.6.x SP campaign, Fate of a Princess
hi, already some feedback, eh? hehe, i am doing a heavy BfW weekend and always try to get hands on new campaigns. comments so far (playing on BfW 1.6.4): -when installing BfW says that the campaign depends on an add-on but it does not state a name, just a blank line -some units seem to be missing tr...

Re: Release & Feedback Request: Prudence
hi, been playing your current one with default difficulty on BfW 1.6.4, i liked it very much, especially the well thought out and pretty small maps which do keep things tight instead of getting bored by moving around units endlessly. technically very well done with nice twists in the storyline and s...

Re: Campaign: An Ordinary Adventure
ah, story is good imho, the chars, just so clichee that it's nice to see, actually this was the first time that i found it really interesting what a loyalist had to say, i guess it's not too easy to make them appear funny and just normal people like, ehhhh, you and me, so to say the elves appear lik...
