revising the EOM

I've been devoting all my Wesnoth time the last couple days to revising the EOM so I can release it soon Good to hear you haven't dropped EOM for your new project. For the record, here are the thoughts I had about resistancies when I feared you wouldn't make it. It might be of some help: - as you s...

Re: Server cleanup

The old server will be kept running on port 15003 for a while, and the new server will use port 15004.
Has the old server on port 15003 been completely emptied ?

I found the (partial) cause for the memory problems, read this bug report for the details https://gna.org/bugs/?7631. I notified the developer who's more familiar with this part of the code. Just to report that the memory problem is hugely improved on the last SVN I got today (Revision: 14235). Tha...

Quote from "Developper Forum"

I second the motion that developers and contributors should get together to create a new grand campaign. A campaign with a strong story, but that also shows off what Wesnoth can do. To provide direction, i propose that individual who have proven themselves be given final say over various aspects of...

Hey, thanks a bunch for changing all the mental range stuff, viorc. That was really the thing I was dreading most to do. You're welcome. I can imagine the pain of doing massive and repetitive task like this one with an editor like notepad. If you do not mind changing horse in the middle of the batt...

Shortly meaning 5 days +/- 4 days

That is a good news to hear.
Just ask if you need help or if you want to share the work.

... and if I may ask, change your avatar as soon as you are better :P

...well, since nobody really cares, this will be me last map I will make (no one plays them either). If you want to stop, just say "I stop" or say nothing. :| If you think you have to stop because there is no reaction, that is probably a bad reason. People that feel like trying your maps ...

Aesthetical comment

Becephalus wrote:Well I guess I have to get to work cleaning up errors, now where was that thread :)
You can start by the file Kalifa/era.cfg. You should introduce TCing by changing image definition to:
name={MENU_IMG_TXT "kalifa/mixed-fighter2.png~TC(1,magenta)" _"Kalifa"}.
Nice work BTW.

can't find the unit being advanced to

In Era of Myths Beta, it seems like whenever a vampire advances, the game can't find the unit being advanced to. Level 0 vampire to Fledgeling. It is strange, I have no problem leveling a bloodborn (level 0) into Fledgeling on my part. What BFW version do you play ? Can you send a saved game ? What...

Swamp village

Oops... I just noticed that the tar.gz-file was not up-to-date (this seems to happen to me quite often...). Please remove the village-swampwater-small.png from svn and commit http://yavin.mogsoft.de/~mog/wesnoth/village-swampwater2.png instead. Something bothers me in the image of the village in th...

I have updated (still locally on my PC), the shifters to the new resistances. I am getting ready to do the Wargs now but I am a little confused by the value you are giving them. The encyclopedia about Overwhelm/disrupt says: It's like Intelligence and Willpower. Units like Trolls are very stupid and...

Probably the best is to follow the instructions in the objectives while making sure to have savefiles in order to reload if you face any bug (some have already been reported)

I'm using Era of Myths EOM alpha 11, and I've found a bug in Celestial: if you pass from wizard to EOM Great Mage, it comes out an error message. I don't know if the error is still present in alpha 12, anyway I've posted it. Thanks for updating your report. This bug was well known and fix in the cu...

The 'underlying terrain' depends on whether you are interested in DEF or movement, it requires handling special cases (such as 'slowed') and aliases, and it involves assumptions about the unit structure which may change between versions. IMO, this function deserves a C++ implementation. I w...
