When playing test of the Clans (0.7.8) in medium mode something weird happened on (I believe) turns 22 & 23. 2 Level 2 Knights (Bayar) appeared each turn in the village on the SW (83,56) corner even though I had captured it pretty early.
I wanted to create a new unit, so I copied Elvish_marshal.cfg in the wesnoth/data/unit directory to Elvish_Azkicker.cfg and changed the advancement in Elvish_marshal.cfg to Elvish Azkicker and Experience to 500.
I made the Elvish Azkicker a level 4 unit also.
I guess this is not a bug in the most technical sense of the word, but when you beat a mission and it autosaves for you, if you lose and save the replay the default is to overwrite your save game, which I did accidently. Now the load game menu just shows the replay game and if I load it all it says...
I tried the Wesbowl multiplayer scenario against the computer and noticed two things:
1) The computer doesn't realize it has to score. The scenario is probably designed only for two human players. Also, probably for same reason, the computer leader eventually heads for the upper left corner.
Sorry if someone has posted this bug before but pressing n while being attacked transfers the damage to the next unit.
This appears in 0.7.7 on Windows XP.
This bug is in multiplayer and campaign mode.

I have a problem in Hasty Aliance - 1st turn never ends. This is ONLY with with v0.7.7 & v0.7.8-CVS, v0.7.6 works fine.
Symptoms:
- I do my moves for 1st turn
- Li'sar does hers
- orcs do their moves and then nothing more happens. I can scroll etc. (i.e. normal operations during AI turn)...
I'm running Mac OS X 10.2.8. Every time I try to download Wesnoth, it only downloads about 150 - 200 kbs, then the computer tells me the mounting failed. What's going on?
I've encouraged a suitemate to download Wesnoth and give it a try, secretly hoping to thrash him in multiplayer. Wesnoth runs fine on his machine... but we can't get a multiplayer game to work correctly.
Whoever connects can neither talk nor properly submit a finished turn - the data just doesn't...

I'm trying to compile the latest Wesnoth version at Linux (Slackware 9.1). I already have the latest version of these dependencies sucessfully compiled: libsdl1.2, libsdl-image,libsdl-mixer, libsdl-ttf,libsdl-net.
But, after './configure', the script states that I need sdl_net developer...
ok im running 0.7.7 on windows xp and i have a problem, everytime since i updated to 0.7.7 the game has crashed leaving this message(not exact didn't put in commas etc.)
error loading game configuration files line 10502 found illegal end tag /side at end of unit(game will now exit)
I installed .7.7 onto a linux machine (suse 9.1) and on a windows 2000 machine.
No matter who hosts the game, the other can't connect to the acting server.
When the linux machine is acting as server I do get these messages:
on the linux server:
buffer from remote host is empty
caught networking...
I'm having this really wierd bug with the CVS right now. whenever I end my turn, it puts me on debug mode. So if i start wesnoth with wesnoth , not wesnoth -d , and i start a campaign, it will put me on debug mode whenever i end my turn.
I know that I stumbled across a page in the wiki about random map generation somewhere but I can't find it again. Anybody have a link to it? Is there any generalized means to search through the wiki?
Also, my scenarios were placing villages in 0.7.6 but they don't seem to be doing so now in 0.7.7....
When I tried to play this game, Gweddy was invisible unles he was attacking or being attacked, although his red dot was present on the strategic map. All other units were ok and gameplay was otherwise unaffected.
This was using 0.3.2 version of the campaign which I had imported into Wesnoth 0.7.5....

I've added a report on savannah for this since I didn't see any existing report. This was from a version compiled from CVS updated yesterday(May15). Being somewhat tall myself, I prefer to not see tall units losing their heads ;)
I made it to the walking dead book scenario in the undead campaign in version .75. When I updated to .76 I started the scenario over from the end of level save. I seemed to have more gold than I did before, but it wasn't a significant amount, so I may have been imagining.
In the smug orc scenario, the orc elders come in and break up the fight after only 3 turns. The scenario objectives suggest this should happen after 20 turns. I'm using Wesnoth 0.7.5 and OSX10.2.8.
Whenever I load a previously saved multiplayer game all of the Recruit lists seem to be random again. Meaning that if I was rebels when the game was created, when I load to continue my games I can only recruit undead or something else. I do not know if I am doing something wrong, when I load, but...

When reloading a (.7.6) MP game, everything succesfullly loads (gold, units) but whoever is hosting gets to recruit dwarves instead of the race he was before.
Attached is the savefile, which i will look at myself later.
BfW quits each time I try to save a game, whether from a new campaign or a previously saved game. I tried both ctrl-S and clicking on the menu to select save and got the same results. It's with the new 0.7.6 compiled by Sithrandel. I believ it is specific to Mac OSX but I don't know if other Mac...
