I had an orc named "Prudish" once.

I guess he wasn't very popular at the orcish feasts.

I don't see the point in this thread - the Random Name Generator (For Mainline at least) is just a big list of names. Check the .po file if you want to.
I'm not really around any more, but you can find me in TvTropes.

A big list of names which is used to randomly generate names using a Markov chain algorithm, right. Most of the time, the generated names are composed of different syllables/portions from different names of the source list.

Basically you're right in that there is a list of names there. But those names are chopped up and recombined to make up the one funny possibility in this thread, and the hundred not funny ones. :)

Now I've had Lent the Royal Guard and Gadd the Lancer (it is funny because "Gad" "גד" means 'luck' in Hebrew, and [so far] he's one very unlucky Lancer).

When I played one of the UMC campaign, in a scenario called 'Escape from Carcyn' (from the city of Carcyn), one ennemi unit was called Carcyn...

I had an (Orcish?) archer (or some ranged unit, can't remember which) who went through a whole battle without a single arrow he fired hitting anything. His he died just as I won the battle, his name was "Rong".
...apparenly we can't go with it or something.
