Wesnoth artwork in free RPG

Post by ArneBab »

Hi,

I just wanted to tell you, that following the discussion in Subject: (Re-) using the artwork in other GPL projects -> artist name we’ve been using Artwork from Wesnoth in the free (GPL licensed) german 1w6/1d6 roleplaying system for quite some time (and backlinking to Wesnoth, of course), which now got Flyerbooks (one folded, doublesided sheet for rules and basic story and additional scenarios) with character-cards.

The additional artwork created for the flyerbooks is under GPL just like the Wesnoth Artwork, so I thought it might interest you.
It is mostly created by Trudy Wenzel who did us the huge favor of creating these images and allowing us to use them under a free license.
