How to replace map file

Post by irheh1 »

I've been playing doofus-01's "Trinity", which keeps failing to load due to an obsolete terrain. I apparently need to replace relevant map file with a replacement posted by doofus-01 yesterday (I don't know how to attach a file to a post, so I'm just putting the URL below). I have no experience whatsoever with WML; can somebody please explain how to do that? Thank you.

On Wesnoth's main menu, there's an "i" button on the lower left corner. After clicking that, a window will pop up, with one of the rows showing the path to the add-ons folder - click the button with the folder icon to the right of that row. From there, you should see a folder for Trinity, and be able to find the map file you need to replace.
