Choosing less common languages
There's probably a very simple answer to this, but I've been digging through the forums, wiki, and help menu and haven't found an answer anywhere. I know that the language menu option only includes languages with a sizable (I think 60%?) amount of the translation complete. How do you choose translations for any of the other languages? The other two languages besides English I speak are Russian and Latin, which I know have a decent amount of material translated, but I can't seem to find any way to place any campaigns or anything else into either language.
I'm currently using version 1.14.4, with my computer's language set to English.

Re: Choosing less common languages
The current Russian translation completeness is nearly 100%, so I'd suggest you update to 1.14.16 in order for that to be easily selectable. To show all languages regardless of completeness, such as Latin which is at just under 40% complete, you need to start Wesnoth with the
--all-translations
option. Translation statistics for the current Wesnoth versions can be found at https://www.wesnoth.org/gettext/.99 little bugs in the code, 99 little bugs

Re: Choosing less common languages
Thanks for the heads-up on Russian; I just came back to Wesnoth after a break and haven't downloaded the latest version yet. Where can I access the
--all-translations
option?- Pentarctagon

You'd need to open the command line, type
Alternatively, for Steam you can go to the game's Properties in your library and put
cd <path to folder with wesnoth.exe>
and click enter, then wesnoth.exe --all-translations
and click enter.Alternatively, for Steam you can go to the game's Properties in your library and put
%command% --all-translations
into the Launch Options textbox.99 little bugs in the code, 99 little bugs

Re: Choosing less common languages
I'm not sure how to do this on macOS for Wesnoth that's not downloaded from Steam - I've only ever used Windows and Linux before.

On a Mac, open a terminal. For example the one in
/Applications/Utilities
. Then type:cd /Applications/The\ Battle\ for\ Wesnoth.app/Contents/MacOS/
./The\ Battle\ for\ Wesnoth --all-translations

I had to make a few adjustments but that did work. Thanks for all the help!
