Tough battle at the outdoor and crucial mission inside the cave. Enemies in the cave are splendid. Worthy ending of a great campaign!
Hint: listen carefully to what Gelphrad says.

Several. I don't like moving slowly and carefully when I know things are going to pop up. It's just too much point and click. So I restarted the turn often when something popped up and I was out of position.

I also thought this was a solid ending. I did start to get a little tired of playing defense outside, though.
Around halfway through, I had a dwarf on a village in the NE who got killed by walkers. Shortly after that, they seemed to stop moving. It's like team 7 just lost interest, except for a few level 1 and 2 units that slowly made their way up to my units. I felt like there was a huge difference in the level of aggression between teams 6 and 7. I think I probably could have sent a small dwarf team out and wiped up team 7 and its leader.
I liked that the elves had just enough income to almost replenish lost units. It didn't feel desperate, but it seemed pretty clear that eventually I'd be overran, and that's just right.
