Bug in italian translation
Hello everybody. At the moment i'm playing wesnoth 1.4 italian version and it has a translating mistake/description error.
if you click on the keyword backstab near the attack description (on the unit desciption page), you go to the page where there is only the general description of backstab.
translated in english is more or less: "this attack deals double damage if the unit is behind the target and is not under restraining abilites (example: petrified)" <---this description is incorrect. you need the target, your unit near the target, another unit on the opposite side of your unit.
creatures with backstab have an unclear description of their ability
translated in english sound like this: "if there is a creature of the target one on the opposite side of the target, this unit can backstab it, dealing double damage, sneaking behind the enemy"

Re: Bug in italian translation
Thank you for noticing, I'm correcting the translation now.

Re: Bug in italian translation
i know this isn't the right place, anyway.. is there any way to donate?
the server for multiplayer is aways almost full and we're experiencing lots of lag problems + out ouf sync; since i really enjoy this game and i think all bfw developers are worth my money, can i help donating for them/donating for a new server?
thanks

If you want to donate read this link http://www.wesnoth.org/wiki/Donate
FYI Dave is quite busy with code optimizations for the MP server which will reduce the lag

Re: Bug in italian translation
Replace _AT_ with @. I'm sure that's just there so bots can't spam his email.SOADandLeftWing wrote:david_AT_whitevine.net is not a valid email i tried to donate via paypal but it said to me it wasn't correct (in fact, email address should have the "@" for what i know till now ) )

Re: Bug in italian translation
please, use some common sense: read the capitalized words and follow their instructions.

Re: Bug in italian translation
i USED common sense. I PUT the capital letters in this forum to avoid spambots as the owner wishes.
obviously, i didn't place the capital letters in the mail address, but got anyway the error message

Re: Bug in italian translation
ah, sorry, but there have been people who complained about not understanding what address_AT_domain.tld meant.
