Which campaign will you look at next? I'd be interested to improve the comments in it, and then get feedback about which comments are useful, which are excessive, and what else should be commented.

Hi,
Thank you for the answer. I'm working on EI (DM and LoW are almost at half already).
the most thing that take time to verify is the gender of both the speaker and the listener. for example, "I want you to go there" can be translated in eight ways (singular=S, plural=P, feminin=F:
SM to SF, PM to SF, SM to PF, PM to PF). multiply this if one side is two persons (in Arabic there is a pronoun for two persons present or absent :D so enjoy).

also, knowing if the event is happening, already happened or may be happened (time of the event) is important. for example, in TRoW is hard because the story sometimes uses present tense while events are long ago past. I already played the campaign multiple times still it took me times to verify many parts in the story.

the third point is when the comment is not clear if it is about an order or an actual event (like saying : move to the X, inside a [case]). This effect the translation very much.

so, 1) knowing the gender and number of the receiver is important.
2) knowing the time and certainty of some event if the context changed is important.
3) adding an explanation in [case] and [option] about who does what.
since it is impossible to add all this at once, I suggest adding them in long sentences and sentences with a change in the course of the events (like when the speaker address to a friend then say Attack! to the army)

By the way, i usually translate places with the original name (Northlands= the north lands, Heart Mountains = the mountains of the heart, ...)
is there a file about the etymology of locations (like Abez, Tath, Alduin, ...)?

Hi,
Since Wesnoth* and Wesnoth-lib* are delicate cases for their codes and commands, I want some expertise review if someone can offer some time to do so.
They are both 100%. I particularly want to check if their is a bug or bad behavior (LtR anomalies ..) in different OS systems , and if I should translate the few 'commands sentences...
Any other comment or note is welcome, too.

update:
wesnoth-lib* 100%
wesnoth* 100% (I changed the command Translation until a solution found for the RtL incompatibilities)
wesnoth-help* 77%
WoF and Did 1 sentence in each .
Wesnoth Arabic Translation is above 80% for the first time..
I am proud of myself since it was a hard task in few months. Still, I hope I get more comments from Arabic player to improve and fix this work.
Now, what is left is:
wesnoth campaigns: TsG and EI. I left them to the end for their huge size,
Wesnoth-manual and wesnoth-manpages: for they are plenty of codes in them and needs cautious work,
Wesnoth-help: it will be finished soon if my health is good

By the way, Arabic Translation is 80% now. Do that means it be displayed as an optional language choice by default?

Also, as another note: TDG (viewtopic.php?t=57997) is meant to be a replacement for Delfador's Memoirs.
