problem with saved game

Help!!

I made it through the sceptre of fire. I saved the game at the end, as i always do. I got to "A Choice Must Be Made" and played it once (unsuccessfully)

now hen i go back and load the saved game, it takes me to the start of "sceptre of Fire"!!!! Help. I dont' want to go through that again, although I know how to do it.

Can anyone help me. I tried to attatch the saved file, but it won't let me.

Which version of the game are you using?

This bug should have been fixed in 0.7.5, so that as long as you played through the Scepter of Fire on 0.7.5 or later, it won't reoccur.

is there any way to edit the saved game file?

No, because the game is saved completely incorrectly.

You will have to upgrade to 0.7.6, then load your Scepter of Fire save, then play through the Scepter of Fire again, and then things should work fine.
