Did you miss me?

With my busy summer out of the way, I have resumed work in the very last scenario. This can be broken into four/five connect mini-scenarios. This means I can release partial scenario files as an when a mini-mission is done.

The first one is almost complete, barring one bug I identified. It should be with you tomorrow.

Not to put you on the spot, but when do you expect the whole thing to be done? Trying to figure out if I want to play the mini missions as you release them or wait for the whole thing

Completely unreliable, but it'll be between weeks and months. It's May to August when I'm most busy, so I want to put my mind to this when I have the chance.

Okay, here you are. Work in progress.

One known issue: not got the hero markers to work yet. Apart from Viktor and Deuterus, the units you must not allow to die are the two shadows and [partial spoiler redaction] the three named characters you haven't met for some time.

Getting this message and then "Unknown scenario -false dawn" when I try to load my false dawn.gz file
Then I tried loading the last turn of Battle of Suveran and got a broken campaign branch message saying false dawn is missing

Sorry if I'm missing something obvious, but I still can't get it to work.

I put the map file under the maps directory, the config file under the scenarios then reloaded the game. Played my False Dawn save and the scenario ended with the "To be concluded" message.

Then I went into the config file for False Dawn and changed the next_scenario value from "null" to "The_Revenge_of_Zharagorn", reloaded the game but still got the "To be concluded" screen after finishing false dawn

Found a typo, plus a scenario review. (This is for the 1.14 version but it likely still applies)

"We should least ask" is missing a "at"

The scenario prior to that was interesting. I played more carefully than usual and managed to kill the undead and then their leader also actually paying attention to levelling up units for a change. Managed to keep my loyals alive for a change. Wasn't careful enough with Viktor and Deuterus though. Amost got both killed by using them too freely. Surprised at the mid scenario change of goal but since I had wisely sent Vik forward when the battle looked won he was ready to start recruiting at Muff's captured keep. I built just bowriders to try and shoot the second enemy to death. Expendables. They died but when my veterans came up once healed they got lucky and the outlaws coming from the south managed to get him. Disappointed that my "bonus" for killing him was just the standard early finish bonus! BOO! Sadly my efforts at levelling up units were a complete waste. Levelled up 2 outlaws only to have them leave. Also levelled a knight but he got killed! My only success was to knight Hubert and keep him alive. Sad, no?

Anyways, my whining about how bad a campaigner I am aside it was a good scenario. : ) Oh except the complaint about too little reward for kiling the second leader. That's sucky. Made me lose my knight and spend a lot of gold on bowrider recruits at the end... Oh and come to think of it maybe the Outlaws should hint that they might leave after this fight. That'd be fairer to know they're expendable.

Bonus bug found: bowrider line (all advancements) have sword anim reversed. Miss sound on a hit and vice versa. Just change hits no to yes and vv where needed.
