Wesnoth 1.14

Post by eira »

Hi!
Newbie here, so I apologize in advance for the basic questions.
I use debian bullseye and I have just installed the game following the instructions from https://flathub.org/apps/org.wesnoth.Wesnoth, and it directly installed the 1.14 version...
Then, when I access to the server, I don't find anyone, Is it because my version is outdated?
How can I easily install the last version? Should I upgrade my debian kernel first?

Please, I will appreciate a bit of advise here.

Eira.

When I run flatpak install flathub org.wesnoth.Wesnoth from the command line, it gives:

Code: Select all

flatpak install flathub org.wesnoth.Wesnoth
Looking for matches…
Similar refs found for ‘org.wesnoth.Wesnoth’ in remote ‘flathub’ (system):

   1) app/org.wesnoth.Wesnoth/x86_64/stable
   2) app/org.wesnoth.Wesnoth/x86_64/1.14

Which do you want to use (0 to abort)? [0-2]:
So it sounds like for you it installed 1.14 instead of stable (1.16).
