Knalga Fighter, too weak in ladder test era?

Knalga Fighter, too weak in ladder test era?
Hi everyone,
Now Knalga fighters only have 36 hp.
So... In recent game, I had 34 hp knalga (quick) fighters vs of 40 + hp spearmen (resilent).
When my opponent out numbered me, went for exchange hp (6 vs 4). I was beaten up even on terrain, terrible story.
Due to Knalga don't have enough mp in general, plus the price, 4 is as far as I could bring to defense line.
So, as I consider, in test era they just don't value 16 golds, they were just mediocre comparing to spearmen ... spearmen can poke me, leaving me with only 29 hp... I played dwarf like play elf, not daring to leave terrain and passively waiting spearmen to attack, cause I don't have enough hp.
Some correction is needed, like shorten the exp bar of fighters or put them down to 15 gold, or maybe I just make the shield, if I truly want to guard some points.
