[Join] Double Style Tournament - 2v2 Tourney #4

Okay so, hi? gnidaoL here... erm I mean MATTO, Matto yes xD

I was wondering which Tournament you players want me to host and if there are even people that will join.

Like in the title i had 2 options in mind:

1. DST Fourth Edition, a 2v2 Tournament focused on playing basically most 2v2 maps other than Isar's Cross
(AH! don't worry i will place Isar's Cross as the First Map to play, to add that bit of crazyness! )

2. UR (Ultimate Recruits) the spiritual successor of PYRA, some old fellows might know PYRA but i hope to get some new players to try it, sooo here a little explenation x)

Ultimate Recruits is an add-on inspired by Horus's PYR.
Instead of having Factions with pre-set recruit list, you can make your own Faction by choosing one of the 3 Era s, with Ultimate Mode offering the biggest pack of units (101 units) to choose from (limited by a budged, usually 100g), depending on the game modes (Highlander, Random Recruits, Draft or Pick Your Recruits aka. DYR/PYR).

My idea was to keep it similar to PYRA Tournaments done by Horus or use the DYR mode which is an innovation from UR.. how does it work?

DYR stands for Draft Your Recruits, basically you will be given 4 units to choose each time, once you picked get 4 new units to pick from, so on till your budged is over.

I'd like 2v2 (dst) more, since we currently played a lot 1v1 with LT. The last 2v2 was a quite a while now. Currently if you want to play 2v2 you usually will join isar playing with a random teammate, what's quite a different experience from a team mate where you can team up better.

UR is interesting too, a tournament there clearly must be done at one point.

Anyway, I also don't want to play for too long, dst took halve of a year if I remember correctly. But that could be adjusted based on a voting.

I would slightly prefer UR 1v1 with the draft system but at 7-0 my vote doesn't matter and 2v2 sounds fun too. I wonder if 2v2 works well with UR? Maybe someone will test UR with me so I can get a feel for it, my concern is that players select both loyal and chaotic units and it becomes more defensive.

As for the start date ig... I don't see much reason for a big gap between LT and this one so maybe like 1-2 weeks after LT ends? I feel like the ladder scene really thins out within a few weeks of a LT ending and thus this could start soon afterwards.
