I think blobs are important, rats and blobs both have a long history in gaming as being rubbish weak creatures that rubbish weak people kill. I will tear it up! I found it amusing for a time, but then it got rather repetitive for me. I suppose the 3d aspect for the height advantages is quite nice, but everything else about it has been implimented better somewhere else i personally think.
