Re: Ascension
That’s why I include the knight from the Green Isle as the other leader in Battle for the North (he’s one of the two you can get in Rise of Wesnoth). I wanted Haldric exiling to be equal opportunity between Green Islanders (the loyalists you fight as well as Crenalu) and the Wesfolk (Jessene’s grou...

Re: Ascension
I know supposedly Haldric never recovered the Ruby from the troll hole, that never made sense to me The Ruby of Fire is temporarily hidden, and the lich-lord Jevyan is deceived into believing it is held by the Elves. Although Jessene had hidden the Ruby of Fire inside the cave, Haldric later reclai...

Re: Campaigning for dummies
Actually this is bad advice that one keeps being told in so many campaigns: Get XP for Leader. It actually only applies to reloaders since the loss of your leader while "getting XP" to a bad die roll is always possible. For those who play "real death" never ever let your leader ...

Re: Ascension
Invasion of Wesmere and the treasure to attack -> and the treasury to attack Note that I used 'droid' a couple times at the end so I wouldnt have to control my army to finish my sure win, but undroided a couple times so the ai wouldn't kill off my heroes. Regarding the turn limits, I wouldn't recomm...

Re: Ascension
Towards War The commands to make the undead rise are missing a period to end the sentence. Slash and Burn he'd fry -> He'd fry never recover -> never recover. Valley of Shadows -> Valley of Shadows. Invasion of Wesmere like clockwork -> like a clockwork Lomarfel should be a loyal unit to keep things...

to the swamps -> to the swamps.
Towards War
cause trouble -> cause trouble.
Hey, I noticed that you renamed your scenario names to include 'Ascension', instead of taking the advice from white_haired_uncle. Why?

Re: Campaign) The Season of the Mist
Selecting the 'Campaign Information' sadly closes the dialog. :( S00_Beginning piece of crap -> piece of crap. Some of the places are named in mexican. I think an additional menu 'button' would be great, with which I could close the open dialog instead of just climbing up the dialog above. Opening I...

Re: Ascension
I've tried to hit more of the typo errors, scenario naming, and also put in some of the suggestions, such as Kingdom of Dorth has a message for each weapon as you approach them suggesting what can carry it. I made some of the Castle Dorth events a bit more animated. Anarchy (scenario 2) now when yo...

Re: Ascension
I can make it so that when Brurbar blasts the doors to the royal chambers in Kingdom of Dorth the King then deploys his Stalwarts, and makes some statement about making a last stand, maybe give him a last breath statement, might make it more dramatic? Sorry, I should have clarified that I meant Cra...

I'm giving my feedback on discord, but I thought maybe I should upload my replays for everyone. (Also, that way I'm kept in the loop for further posts. )

Re: Ascension
S8 Kingdom of Dorth
It would be great if, when I move a wrong unit to an item, the unit said what kind of unit can use the item. (I mostly got confused by the short sword.)
The fight at the end would be greatly improved by some animation of the units.

Re: Ascension
I eliminated the extra s that was causing issues Fixed most typos/wording suggestions, though I couldn't find the Forward, Drakes, scenario 5 didn't even have drakes in it, I looked in scenario 4, maybe I'm just blind... My bad, I mixed up the numbering, the Drakes typo is in S6. For scenario 2, I ...

The scenario 2 file has a typo due to which the campaign can't be started. The following add-on had errors and could not be loaded: ~add-ons/Ascension/_main.cfg Please report this to the author or maintainer of this add-on. They likely mean that the unit was hit by an attack with the 'drain' weapon special.white_haired_uncle wrote: ↑January 30th, 2024, 2:48 am Not sure what "being hit by a move with drain" means?

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
On the flip side I'm utterly spoiled now, and want items and extensive AMLA trees for all the scenarios I play. I may just play it all again, now that I understand the systems and story better than I did before - I ended up not using a whole bunch of my cool potions and did very little crafting (ot...
