Re: Please mark your private games...

I've tried saying things - in fact, I usually do. Sometimes even politely :) I have seen at least one person relist their game with a "private" label after I politely complained, which was nice.

Re: Please mark your private games...

Honestly, sometimes I'm tempted to make the title "The password is 'password'" and thereby filter people who don't read the title :)

(I think I've actually seen someone do something like this once or twice, actually.)

Re: Please mark your private games...

I've given up on expecting anything more than "gg" before someone quits, but yeah, I suppose people not reading the titles is pretty annoying too. I remember once, starting an RPG four times in a row only to loose a (different) person each time to not having the required data.

Re: Please mark your private games...

You're almost certainly right. It had just happened for the third time in a row, though, and I was feeling very frustrated.

Please mark your private games...

I've been playing Wesnoth on and off since the time when level 1 mages were blue and slow made you loose a strike instead of doing half damage, but I've never been very active in the community, so I'm sorry if this post is inappropriate or redundant. Anyway, often I will join a game on the public se...

well how about the greatest come back you've ever been a part of? I wish I had a replay of it. It was a 4 player ffa on a large "realistic" map. Green dropped out quickly (moronic n00b who was spamming - maybe he got kicked, I'm not sure); red gained a gradual lead and was clearly winning...

Suggestions for improvement to any of the terrain features seen here are invited. (Doing it yourself is even more welcome but I don't expect that, obviously.) I doubt that you would want to use the trees as-is for a forest terrain, since they look so much different from the other forests; rather I a...

Campaign overriding terrain graphics

Can a campaign override certain terrain tiles with its own graphics? I am making a Dwarf campaign, and most of the terrain will be cave. It would be nice to have more graphical variety, and I would like to replace some of the terrains I won't use with other things. (But only for my campaign, of cour...

I thought of this too one time.
"Holy Red Mage" sounds okay, but I called her a "Pink Mage" :)

This is already possible (I don't know of any campaigns that use it though)
Is it possible to do more than one at a time, though?

The idea of a second (or n th) recruiter is good. I don't think any unit should be able to do it though. Maybe just units with leadership. To be a bit conservative, it might be good enough if, in campaigns, some of the other "hero" units could recruit, at the scenario developer's choice. L...

The hat looks cool. I think i'll put one like it one my alchemist. Although I disagree with Alchemists coming from engineers... those are two seperate things. Alchemist->runemaster would be more like it.

Updated...

I tweaked the proportions of the unit and improved the attack animation. Also, gave him a knife again. I have not changed the name to alchemist because this sugjests a diffrent (and better) idea to me, but feel free to change the name if you want. The animation is also now slightly longer.
