Re: The South Guard (Revised)
I already gave some feedback, but I forgot to send the times! This is the total time the scenarios (that I played) took me, including carefully reading all the text. (version 1.0 and following on challenging difficulty, although I didn't notice a big difference to easy v1.3) 7 min | Tutorial 25 min ...

Re: Melbrin (Mal M'Brin)
The problem is, the portrait doesn't really match Mal M'brin that well. Looks more like an old human corpse than a fresh elven lich. He would work well with a more mummified Look and elven ears. You're right, if his portrait looked more like the one you sent, it would match the story much better. S...

Re: Melbrin (Mal M'Brin)
Also, is there no TC? Or is the tc black? Yea, he's on the black team. I tried the ribcage idea, but he has lost so much weight trying to conform with the impossible beauty standards for liches that there's not enough space left for me to convincingly pull it off. I did make his head as dark and sk...

Melbrin (Mal M'Brin)
Following the call for mainline art, I decided to try my best and make a custom Melbrin for the (Revised) South Guard campaign. In this thread I'd like to gather some feedback/ideas on how to improve his design. But first I need to address the question some will have: IF he should be improved or if ...

Re: New mage animations
Thanks for sharing your concerns :) I made this post in a rush, so I hope the lack of context didn't mislead anyone into thinking this was already approved for mainline. Now, I don't know what you and maksiu have been discussing, but from what I understand the goal is to update all the mages and the...

Re: Wenoth board game released (yet again!)
Where did you get the figurines from? The villages I could use my Monopoly houses for. Hmm actually I could use my scale knights for this. Don't have any ghouls or elves or dwarves though. They're from the War of the Ring board game by Ares Games. Fantastic asymmetric strategy game if you have a lo...

Re: Wenoth board game released (yet again!)
Yea, that's true. If I played someone else I wouldn't have to constantly refer to the Spielertafel to check if I remembered correctly. I think the biggest improvement would be to put all the movement stats together. I'm thinking something along the lines of this: image5082-4.png (btw I'm German as w...

Re: Wenoth board game released (yet again!)
I didn't have anyone to play with me, so I tried it out against myself: IMG_20200613_013737.jpg I like it. It feels like Wesnoth, but isn't too complicated. My biggest problem with it is how annoying it is to look up the stats. I have that problem with the digital version too, but at least there I h...
