It was indeed very easy

I finished twelve turns early despite many obvious mistakes I had made. I was a little bit careless at the end so I have lost two experienced mages - I ended with only one white mage and an army of common mages.
(I used only mages  )

 it was my mistake  Now I have downloaded from CVS and recompiled properly again and I see that you are right, configuring hotkeys via GUI is working no longer. I have to leave town just now (my train would not wait) and I'll be offline till Monday evening, then I will be able to repair ...

Thanks for report. The bad thing is that I am not able to reproduce (or to notice) reported behavior. Setting appends to file so it's getting larger and larger. Which file ? After game restart all setting are lost ... I'm new, but I love this game and I'm using hotkeys all the time. I know that you ...

It is great, heh, but as for me... way too glorious. When I close my eyes I see a man with his coat wet, falling to his knees onto muddy earth, kneeling in rain raising his hand, whilst he had finally broken his darkest days. He has finally won, though he has lost everything. Yet won. Still it is o...

Dave: what about cygwin? or using a free windows C++ compiler? DevX? I can try to compile BfW with easy to install Bloodshed Dev-C++ (Compiler: Mingw/GCC 3.2, that's just GCC ported for Windows), when I get to Windows box. I once worked with it (before switching to Linux ;-)), and it was without an...

It's very good. :P Go on. At first, I had found it little difficult to listen to it, because I was little surprised by the style of your music. But I have listened to it once more and since then I am sure, that it is good music. I think it should be included, including original _good_ music is anoth...

Re: Undead Campaign

Question of moment: Is there a map editor available? There is MapEditor at least in CVS(/src/editor/editor.cpp). It's under development, so for example map scrolling is possible only with arrow keys atm, but editing maps with it would be probably more effective then editing maps with some text edit...

It would be very nice !
If you make it, I would surely sometimes play in Latin, just in (probably vain) attempt to refresh my Latin knowledge from high school.

Configuring hotkeys with GUI

I have added some code to CVS so configuring hotkeys with GUI is possible. This feature wil be probably seldom used by most of you, but I will be happy if it can be tested also by other people than me before next release. So please, when you update from CVS next time, try to customize hotkeys, try t...

My unsuccesful attempts were all made in hurry, because I thought that I should reach the other side of river as soon as I can (some of NPC had gave me this advice and I believed it) My successful strategy was to wait on my side of the ford until all of sea monsters are dead i.e. not to fight them i...
