New tropical forest
Working on a new tropical forest. Redid some trees and made a bunch more. Also converted it to multihex.

looks good (much better than the origional) but the trees with larger trunks have a tendancy to line up,I've outlined the obvious ones that I noticed first (although if you look closely it occurs all over the pic, but isn't as noticable), and it occurs because they all seem to be in the middle of the hexes, moving some of the varients to have them at the side instead, (they will almost neve align horizontally, but do vertically) should fix this quickly.
again, nice
EDIT: opps, forgot the pic

Now we can finally make tropical forest maps that look decent...

Hi, is this topic dead? One suggestion I have, that may improve it, is to make the ground for tropical forests darker.
My biggest problem with the old one, and this one partly, is that the trees sort of "blend" with the ground, previous time it was the branches, this time it's the crowns.
If the ground were to be a somewhat darker green, it'd give the illusion of a deeper tropical forest (I'd think) and make the trees stand out more, instead of blend with the ground.
Just my two cents, ofcourse.
