Re: SVN Portraits directories
Awesome.
The same thing could have been done during the first 1/3 - 2/3 of the switchover to the new set of attack icons that were finished around 1.2 or so.
It's a nice resource to have.
Your repository is an excellent place to "put sigificant chunks of wesnoth content in" if we're not sure what direction the game's art is going to go in. At the time, we had about 2-3 different competing styles. We put them ALL in mainline, together, because we didn't know which one was gonna come out on top (in the end, kitty's style showed up and rightly steamrolled over all of them ). Had we had your repository around, we would have, for example, stored those portraits by neoriceisgood on it, instead of in mainline.Shadow Master wrote:And what does my repository have to do here?Jetryl wrote:We weren't sure which direction we were going in, so we wanted to keep both around (we also didn't have the wesnoth UMC dev repo at the time).

I'm going to do the same with your last batch.
(This message is here basically for the interested users.)
EDIT:
Done. This and other deprecated material can be checked out with SVN or with the web browser interface at http://wesnoth-umc-dev.svn.sourceforge. ... _mainline/ .
EDIT2:
And just did the same with Jormungandr's mermaid initiate portrait.
EDIT3:
Commited Jason Lutes' old Halberdier portrait in revision 3730 to wesnoth-umc-dev.
