Clear, the part about the book is interesting.Content Feedback wrote: ↑May 22nd, 2009, 11:18 pm(4) How clear and interesting did you find the dialog and storyline of the scenario?
Getting to the king on time is quite a challenge, two trolls had already broken into the king's fort when I arrived.Content Feedback wrote: ↑May 22nd, 2009, 11:18 pm(5) What were your major challenges in meeting the objectives of the scenario?

Re: Scenario 15: Save the King
Wesnoth 1.12, medium difficulty.
I found both hard and annoying that Garard's survival is mostly dependant on luck rather than on the player's skills...
Basically, if Garard gets poisoned, he's poised to be dead before one can bring a healer to him.
I think a WML code giving orcish assassins a 0% chance to hit Garard could prevent that?

Re: Scenario 15: Save the King
Wesnoth 1.14.11, hardest: 'Great Mage' (difficult), no reloading during campaign; played the scenario several timesContent Feedback wrote: ↑May 22nd, 2009, 11:18 pm 1) What difficulty levels have you played the scenario on?
10 (in comparison with the rest of the campaign - probably the hardest scenario)Content Feedback wrote: ↑May 22nd, 2009, 11:18 pm (2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10)
It wasnt too hard though. Even with my sloppy play (failed/aborted flanking maneuver, almost lost due to stupidly leaving the king unguarded after I already had my units down there in turn 12) and "unmotivated" preparation in previous scenarios I still won.

Saving the King. And I wasnt sure about the "AI gets more gold scripting" - I remembered sth about not killing the orc leader as that triggers it but I am not sure this is still true. So 2nd major challenge was guessing the scripting.Content Feedback wrote: ↑May 22nd, 2009, 11:18 pm (5) What were your major challenges in meeting the objectives of the scenario?

Make it "hard and fair" without scripted surprises.Content Feedback wrote: ↑May 22nd, 2009, 11:18 pm (7) What, if any, are changes you would have made to the scenario to make it more fun?

Getting rid of the 80% or nothing scheme (without even telling the player how much the next scenario starting gold default is) would help. While I dont think the plus-40% scheme is good its IMO at least better than the one used in this campaign.
