Out of curiosity, (and impatience, I guess) how long does LOTI usually take to update to a new version?

Wesnoth 1.16 add-ons server begins at v1.15.14/1.16.0, this is 2021.6.22/2021.10.26.
Maybe you can compare that time with the 1st upload time of LOTI on the server. I don't have Wesnoth 1.16 anymore.

The beta version exists on the 1.17 server. You can download it from http://addons.wesnoth.org/1.17/
However, as it is the beta version is might be a bit buggier that the stable that will at one point be published on 1.18
