Beat the previous stage, it runs through the inter-battle storyline, then does the loading bar, and the screen stays back indefinitely. If I try to click I get the busy rondel and then Windows (Vista) asks me if I want to kill the unresponsive program.

After re-install (no un-install) I got past the point before I was staying black on, then at the final load before the level it goes black again and I get prompted three times that the app is not responding, ignore all three times, then the level loads. Success!

The bugtracker advises to downgrade to libsdl 1.2.14, but I'm already on that. Reconcillio does not find any broken packages. Any one have any idea what else could be causing it?
