I recoloure the Galleon and it does turn up blue in-game. But trying to change the IDs (custom HP stats) makes units not spawn at all. 20181212 09:29:06<+wesdiscordbot> I used [+units] {~add-ons/The_Faerie_Prince/units} [/units] correctly though in my _main.cfg file 20181212 09:33:27<+wesdiscordbot> that doesn't make sense. are you changing the mainline galleon? 20181212 09:33:37<+wesdiscordbot> Yes indeed 20181212 09:34:03<+wesdiscordbot> Transport Galleon to be specific; and I had it renamed War Galleon yesterday but since that didn't work I reverted the changes and tried a whole bunch of other stuff 20181212 09:38:00< zookeeper> firstly, [+units] {~add-ons/The_Faerie_Prince/units} [/units] is only correct if you indeed have .cfg files in that directory. 20181212 09:38:12< zookeeper> secondly... well, depends on the contents of those files. 20181212 09:39:03< zookeeper> the rest about what you said about the galleon doesn't really tell me what you've actually done. 20181212 09:41:50<+wesdiscordbot> Alright. I've renamed it to 'Tango' for now since I was paranoid the spaces were somehow messing with the ID/name (which they shouldn't but hey). I have Tango.cfg in my /units directory, and have not renamed the image file (although I did modify it); this means that the base game T Galleon and Tango now use the same image; but as I've said earlier, Tango won't load/appear. The regular T Galleons show up fine with 20181212 09:41:50<+wesdiscordbot> their normal stats but updated image. If you'd like, I can send a pastebin link to my Tango.cfg file 20181212 09:42:18< zookeeper> you should 20181212 09:43:11<+wesdiscordbot> https://pastebin.com/rHA8LrGS 20181212 09:43:57<+wesdiscordbot> /units/boats/Tango.cfg ; this is how the base game Galleon is stored as well, so I've kept the original file structure 20181212 09:44:32< zookeeper> so you _don't_ have .cfg files in add-ons/The_Faerie_Prince/units, that's the problem 20181212 09:45:46<+wesdiscordbot> If I move over Tango.cfg to the /units directory (making /boats obsolete), it still won't load though. 20181212 09:46:25< zookeeper> if that's true, then that [+units] tag is misplaced somehow 20181212 09:46:39< zookeeper> or you're not actually trying to spawn a unit of type Tango 20181212 09:47:52<+wesdiscordbot> https://pastebin.com/7XTjGJjB I can send you the entire scenario file if you prefer; the [+unit] is an exact replica of another campaign (A Beastly Tale) 20181212 09:48:40< zookeeper> ok, nothing wrong with that. so if you change the type to Spearman or whatever, the unit does show up? and with type=Tango the game tells you it's an unknown unit type? 20181212 09:49:23<+wesdiscordbot> Zookeeper, I redid the [+units] and it worked. I think I used incorrect spacing (because it looked identical at the very least). Thank you 20181212 09:49:36< zookeeper> right, okay 20181212 09:49:57<+wesdiscordbot> I'll keep in mind copy & pasting messes up the spacing, very crucial detail 20181212 10:01:10< Ravana> spaces are allowed in unit type ids, though I prefer to avoid spaces in identifiers 20181212 10:05:39<+wesdiscordbot> Yeah and I knew it was an irrational fear considering the unit I was attempting to replicate had the id=Transport Galleon 20181212 11:30:18<+wesdiscordbot> sneak peak for all you boys.
