Thanks 20190324 04:59:27<+wesdiscordbot> Mostly just looking for long campaigns 20190324 04:59:36<+wesdiscordbot> Almost done with trinity 20190324 05:00:09<+wesdiscordbot> I wonder if revansurik ported the dragon trilogy yet :thonk: 20190324 05:00:27<+wesdiscordbot> ah, nope, doesn't seem like it 20190324 05:00:58<+wesdiscordbot> I remember a campaign on 1.12 where you played as a prince and princess, the princess being a elf, and it had free roam 20190324 05:01:05<+wesdiscordbot> But it was largely unfinished 20190324 05:01:16<+wesdiscordbot> Can’t remember it’s name for the life of me 20190324 05:01:34<+wesdiscordbot> :thonk: :thonk: :thonk: 20190324 05:03:58<+wesdiscordbot> geez 1.12 has so many campaigns that weren't ported 20190324 05:04:21<+wesdiscordbot> it must be because of Wesnoth's amazing backwards compatibility 20190324 05:04:26<+wesdiscordbot> 😂 20190324 05:05:23<+wesdiscordbot> I love Wesnoth's backwards compatibility personally 20190324 05:05:59<+wesdiscordbot> There's no better feeling than having to rewrite two events into 6/7 of them because of said backwards compatibility 20190324 08:49:55-!- zookeeper [~lmsnie@wesnoth/developer/zookeeper] has joined #wesnoth 20190324 09:19:16<+wesdiscordbot> @rohiik A Sanguine Tale is long too. 20190324 09:20:51<+wesdiscordbot> And The Beautiful Child is kind off free roam I think? 20190324 09:21:10<+wesdiscordbot> Legends of the Invincibles is of course very long. Extremely long. Grnk the Mighty - Enjoyable and sometimes funny. The Library of Kratemaqht - Some backstory for the 'Old Continent' where the Wesfolk came from. Not canon. But neat. The Sjournings of Grog - Played multiple times, liked multiple times. A Whim of Fate - 20190324 14:27:30<+wesdiscordbot> Different from most wesnoth, I personally don't/didn't enjoy it much, but others loved it. Crin of Crenlyn - I like. Coming of the Storm - Shiny units beyond lvl 3. 20190324 17:00:57-!- celmin|sleep [~celmin@unaffiliated/celticminstrel] has quit [Quit: KABOOM! It seems that I have exploded. It's rather that just noone dares to install Python and fires up that tool onto his beloved add-on, which noone maintains. AtS or IftU are corner cases, which use all kind of exceptional things, which most of the add-ons won't be affected by. 20190324 18:36:02-!- Haudegen [~quassel@178.115.237.87.static.drei.at] has joined #wesnoth 20190324 19:09:55-!- joemaro [~joemaro@249.red-37-158-129.dynamicip.rima-tde.net] has quit [Remote host closed the connection] 20190324 19:32:48<+wesdiscordbot> it would be better if compatibility breaking things were just better documented in general, honestly 20190324 19:40:30<+wesdiscordbot> it's one thing to break compatibility, it's another to have people stumbling over them because there's no way for them to have known their code doesn't work anymore. 20190324 19:42:56< celticminstrel> It would also help if the API were more clearly-defined and better-test. In some cases, there's no notification about compatibility-breaking changes because either no-one noticed a change broke compatibility or none of the devs were aware of some particular quirk of the old version that the new version eliminates. 20190324 19:59:28<+wesdiscordbot> could be something to fix more easily with 2.0 - require unit tests that're run through travis for all API features added. 20190324 20:00:10< celticminstrel> Obviously it's far easier to make unit tests from the beginning than retrofit them into an existing code base, yeah. 20190324 20:00:22-!- Soo_Slow [Soo_Slow@gateway/vpn/privateinternetaccess/sooslow/x-31376162] has joined #wesnoth 20190324 20:00:25< Ravana> I doubt it is feasible to require mandatory tests on everything 20190324 20:00:35< celticminstrel> Really? 20190324 20:13:13-!- celticminstrel [~celmin@unaffiliated/celticminstrel] has quit [Ping timeout: 255 seconds] 20190324 20:13:39-!- celticminstrel [~celmin@unaffiliated/celticminstrel] has joined #wesnoth 20190324 20:42:43-!- Soo_Slow [Soo_Slow@gateway/vpn/privateinternetaccess/sooslow/x-31376162] has quit [Remote host closed the connection] 20190324 20:42:59-!- Soo_Slow [Soo_Slow@gateway/vpn/privateinternetaccess/sooslow/x-31376162] has joined #wesnoth 20190324 22:43:31-!- lolTest [loltest@gateway/vpn/protonvpn/loltest] has quit [Quit: Konversation terminated!] 20190324 22:43:34-!- zookeeper [~lmsnie@wesnoth/developer/zookeeper] has quit [Ping timeout: 250 seconds] 20190324 23:19:05-!- Soo_Slow [Soo_Slow@gateway/vpn/privateinternetaccess/sooslow/x-31376162] has quit [Remote host closed the connection] 20190324 23:21:16-!- Haudegen [~quassel@178.115.237.87.static.drei.at] has quit [Read error: Connection reset by peer] 20190324 23:24:09<+wesdiscordbot> https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/231976805987385345/559517841175609347/they_won.webm --- Log closed Mon Mar 25 00:00:07 2019
