For folks looking to start helping out on the dev side of things, is there some sort of assignment of bug-fixing that happens? Or should I just pick a random "Good first issue" and then make a pull request when (if) I figure out how to fix it? 20190516 16:33:56< Soliton> pick an issue you're interested in. discuss ways to fix it here and make a pull request. 20190516 16:34:38< Soliton> those marked as "Good first issue" are indeed those that are hopefully easy to do. 20190516 17:58:08<+wesdiscordbot> "hopefully easy to do" I may be a rookie but I've said that before... I can't reproduce the bug in issue #4071 https://github.com/wesnoth/wesnoth/issues/4071. Additionally, the code mentioned in the issue is different from what's in the master currently. That portion of the file doesn't appear to have been touched in any recent commit, though, so idk where this is actually broken.
