Re: New campaign: The Hammer of Thursagan
I was referring to THoT on the dev branch. The units whose new portraits weren't "blocked" by campaign portraits worked fine. By the way, the campaign portraits I am referring to are: elurin.png and ratheln.png.

Re: New campaign: The Hammer of Thursagan
Since kitty has made some very high quality portraits of several units in this game (the mage line, specifically), could their current lower quality portraits be removed to make way for the standard ones? I realize that some of the units in this game are unique and must have their own campaign-speci...

Re: Unit Retirement
Well, if you did that you'd waste a lot of money recalling unwanted units, but I get the gist of what you're saying. Sounds fair.

Unit Retirement
Would it be a good idea for the player to be allowed to "retire" units in the middle of a campaign scenario? Basically that unit would disappear from the map, but stay in the recall list, allowing the player to keep the unit without paying for it's upkeep if it has completed its task. This...

Re: Standing and idle animations?
Ah i was inspired to make one ^^ Here is the rouge. He is supposed to be bending down and picking up something shiney, like a ring. The he subtlety puts it in his pocket. Its quite heavily frankenstiened, based off of his death animation, and needs cleaning I like the concept, but I think he should...

Re: Standing and idle animations?
Ok, here's a small redo for a possible standing animation. I don't entirely like the base frame, because he's in a too upright position and the whole animation does not look quite believable when he has to return into this position... may I edit the base frame, as well? How about he beckons a littl...

Re: Legend of Wesmere-Elvish(Kalenz) Campaign
I haven't played the campaign, but I happen to love breaking_the_chains.ogg. Do you think it has a place in one of the scenarios?

Re: New undead swimmer sprites
To my untrained eye, those look quite nice. I would suggest that you do the other directions before you insert your unit into the campaign, because it'll look quite artificial otherwise.

Re: Leadership Sprite/Animation
Fair enough. I must have misread Erlornas's abilities in AOI.

Re: Leadership Sprite/Animation
I just used the rotate tool on the GIMP, and probably lost some quality in the process. I'll see what the higher ups think of it.

Re: Leadership Sprite/Animation
What exactly do you mean by "dummy" units? Lords are often seen in campaigns, where most newbies (those who would benefit from such sprites) usually start off.
Oh, and what do you think of the mock-up above?

Re: Leadership Sprite/Animation
I just dug through the files, and it seems that the Elf Captain and the Elf Marshal do have a "leading" sprite, but the Lord and High Lord don't.
Edit: Here's a mock-up of what the lord should probably be doing (following the convention of other leading units)

Oh, I didn't realize this was already the case. Do the elves also raise their swords?

Leadership Sprite/Animation
Would it be possible to have a different sprite (or possibly an animation) to show that a unit is currently using his leadership on others? For example, the Elf Captain or Marshal could take his banner into his hands. Is this feasible or even a good idea?
