What do you mean by this?SkyOne wrote:Actually, modifying cfg-files of mainline campaigns on BfW 1.11.x seems impossible unless making a copy AFaIK. So maybe, this action works just for UMCs in the future...

Re: Balancing and Gold
I may very well be mistaken, (being much out of practice with WML) but I believe this CABD. I imagine that a scenario writer could store the player's [starting] gold into a variable, perform whatever operations he wanted, then use that variable to set the enemies' gold. So this is already an option ...

Re: Peasants And maybe some other stuff
I'd love to do some umc peasants, any suggestions? I have a feeling that generic female villager sprites would be useful, particularly in RPG-ish UMCs having towns with citizens in them. Or maybe just more variations on the basic villager concept in general, i.e. more types/variations of peasants, ...

Re: Peasants And maybe some other stuff
Could you point out the jaggy edges? I'm seeing them on the peasant and ruffian's right (our left) arms, as well as on all of the weapons. Again, I'm not an artist, so please take my comments with a grain of salt- I'm quite possibly completely wrong about the anti-aliasing business and that isn't t...

Is it just me or are a lot of the edges jagged and in need of some anti-aliasing?

Can it be done? Sure, everything you suggested can be done in WML. (and relatively easily, I believe.)

Re: [interface] Campaign specific hotkeys?
Just popping in to give a big thumbs-up to this idea. I can imagine that this would be extraordinarily useful for a number of UMC authors, especially for add-ons such as Gambciv or Wesband. (not to mention that it would be useful to players as well!)

I am curious if you know how easy it would be to fake such a replay with a little bit of coding.

Re: variables and other things in campaigns
[set_menu_item] can't be directly under the [scenario] tag; you have to put it inside an [event]. (probably your start event)

Re: Ending stories of resolve
I could see this possibly being done for loyal units which survived and are in your recall list at the end of a campaign, as sort of an easter egg/reward for keeping them alive. (Like Haldiel the Grand Knight at the end of HttT!)

Re: Use Opengameart.org as (UMC) sprite repository
Idealistically, this would be great, but it isn't going to work unless you can get a lot of people on board with it... it won't be useful unless you can build up a really [more or less] complete repository of UMC sprites. Hopefully other artists will go along with this and upload their stuff; this w...
