Well, they are desert nagas, and aren't quite like their water-dwelling counterparts.

Re: Mechanical's art

I also quiet bone thing. That unit line has to be elaborated a bit more lore-wise to make it "fit". Could they be considered partially necromancers? Lore-wise, the floating bull-skeleton-demon thingies are made by the bull shamans draining a bull's blood, then throwing the dead bull's sku...

Well, the era he and I are working on isn't really set after The Fall, so the bulls are just bulls.

looks like my era is safe from these issues since it includes its own copies of (almost) all core macros including these two
Yeah, I'd say a good chunk of add-on porting problems are due to deprecated and/or changed core macros.

Re: The Golden Age

any specific examples of WML functions that have to be rewritten for compatibility with BfW 1.14.x? my era is intended to work on both 1.14.x and some older versions of BfW, so it would be nice to know about gotchas you've stumbled upon while making your mods Ah, I just remember a couple of the pro...

Re: Invasion from the Unknown 2.1.3 [Wesnoth 1.14]

Voted "no" in the poll. I agree with Iris that having two campaign entry points needlessly complicates things, and it could also be a pain in the ass to balance properly.

Re: The Golden Age

TGA is an amazing art recourses. Together with Gnats era tRotL, they were the base for my spiriting "career" if you can call it that. Thanks, though 90+% of the art in TGA is from others' add-ons. At least it does compile it all in one place. And one thing it has over Ageless Era in terms...

Re: The Golden Age

Hey i am sorry is there no chance of TGA ever returning to wesnoth? Well, I kinda abandoned wesnoth for now, and porting TGA to the current version would require changing a decent amount of code, so having it return is relatively unlikely. If someone else willing to maintain the project, it would b...

Re: [WIP] Ogres/Builders/Empire/Fungu/Raider Era

Great era. :) Lots of good ideas for abilities and interesting faction concepts. Thanks! :) About balance, for me it's no longer as important for UMC as it once was, I have mainline factions if I want something balanced. Reaching good enough balance for most units can take a lot more work for UMC c...

Re: [WIP] Ogres/Builders/Empire/Fungu/Raider Era

Hello everyone. Haven't worked in an era for some time, but here's an update I was sitting on for a while and didn't release: changelog: Ogres: Builders: -new feature: siege auto-pilot (rightclick option that makes catapults automatically fire at random enemies at the start of each turn. Useful if y...

Re: [WIP] Ogres/Builders/Empire/Fungu/Raider Era

new update (quite a large one this time): Ogres: -added the "loyal" ability to Royal Guard/Savage Builders: -replaced the dwarf fighter line with a similar custom one (with some changes, including a thunderstick attack for lvl2/lvl3, but slightly nerfed stats to match the rest of the facti...
