Don't count on it any time soon, because Irydacea has abandoned the project as well as EOL, and unless someone familiar with LUA wants to update the code and take over, the project will remain stuck in the version 1.16

the problem was what mainline cfg are read before addons .cfg, it not ossible to substitute a ROL item to mainline items in campaign, the uit_type filter bugs can't be fixed

In campaign Heir_To_The_Throne, scenario 19a_Snow_Plains, the Flaming Sword cannot be picked up if the unit is L4 or L5. That's because in Heir_To_The_Throne/utils/httt_utils.cfg of the main game, OBJ_SWORD_FIRE, the new class type is not defined in the [filter]. There may be other items that will ...

in 1.18 the filter ability are yet experimental, it's why you find experiemntal_ in tag_name of filter, it will be removedlater in devellopement branch when some modifications and corrections will be added

the idea here is to encode the halo directly in the ability instead of doing it in such a way that the halo is only shown when the ability (illuminate here) is active instead of using the necoding in asn unit_type, it is in fact this separation which prevented the use of illuminate capabilities with...
