Re: A Study On Tension In Strategy Games

sweet lordy do I need a few participants If you're having trouble finding people, you could try posting in some other places - e.g., Reddit or Steam . That's a good shout - I posted to the reddit moderators but have yet to hear anything back. I'll throw something at the steam community forums thoug...

A Study On Tension In Strategy Games

Hi all! I'm running an experiment to try and figure some things out about tension in strategy games; it involves playing a Wesnoth scenario and then answering a questionnaire, and it should only take half an hour tops. In a nutshell, sweet lordy do I need a few participants, and I'd be incredibly gr...

Interception, an Experiment on Tension

Does the scenario seem feasible for both sides? I'd appreciate more expert opinions on this; I'm not a downright veteran o...

Re: Interception Scenario Testing

I'm so sorry for such a late reply, I've been working on the questionnaire aspect of this! The gold aspect is good to know; since the initial upload I've added a few more villages, with a lot more roads in between to make getting to them actually feasible. The two cavalrymen have been replaced with ...

Interception Scenario Testing

This thread is to track feedback for the development of a scenario being used for research on tension in games - Interception. It's my first scenario, so some stumbling blocks are definitely lurking in the darkness. It's definitely playable at version 0.1.0, just needs tweaking and feedback. Roughly...
