I have deleted some old posts from either subjects that where too old or from people that joined the music team for less than a couple of days or posting music that had nothing to do with the game (for example techno).
This was made to gain space and get things a bit more organized.
Oh! I got tired of this...when I will change my music to .ogg, for example rock.m4a to rock.ogg, it is always going on to rock.ogg.m4a!!! Even .png, .cfg, etc...What am I to do to rename this to become as simple as .ogg?
Has anyone ever thought about using music from in wesnoth? It's written in the licensing terms, that those pieces are free if used in GNU/GPL licensed games for example...

I wrote a little piece for wesnoth. It's far from being as good as what Aleski and ThimotyP are doing, but i think it could fit in the game, especially in a forest-ambush type of scenario.

All of our music files have few to none of the possible attributes for .ogg files filled out. This doesn't seem like a huge deal, but having those attributes does help when importing the music into a music player, as I do. So, I propose we set the following for all music:

Here is some more music that I made. I don't think it is probably good enough to get into the new music Wesnoth that TimothyP and Aleksi are talking about, but I think is is better then most of the current music in Wesnoth.
Here is a short (8-9 seconds) victory theme for the end of a campaign. It's very brassy, so it would probably only be appropriate for human victories (Rise of Wesnoth, Heir to the Throne, etc).
