Spelling
Don't forget we spell like Americans in Wesnoth. So we keep our scepters even when we go out to the theater in the center of town.
(One of my earliest threads was on this, and, yes, I know the Scepter of Fire is inconsistent in its usage.)

Re: Spelling
So, "Scepter of Fire" not "Sceptre of Fire", if what you're saying?Eponymous-Archon wrote:Don't forget we spell like Americans in Wesnoth. So we keep our scepters even when we go out to the theater in the center of town.

OK. I believe I can now change the title of the campaign as displayed on the server now, so it won't be a big deal.

Campaign announcement: version 0.0.6 is released. New scenario (placed in between 1 and 2), an IMHO balanced 1st scenario, and minor plot changes.
For those who many be wondering why I'm not at 0.1 yet, its because I want to have 2 balanced scenarios first.
Mostly I tend towards british when it uses "-re" not "-er", but towards american when it uses "o" not "ou". But I sometimes use "-er", and sometimes "ou".

I'm very random in my british v. american spelling usage. I think its because I read a lot of un-"translated" British authors.Eponymous-Archon wrote:Yep, that's it.
(Somehow theatRE has some respectability in the US, despite, or perhaps because of, its uniqueness.)

I like the new second scenario a lot. Playing on medium it might have been too easy. I immediately fell back to the second row of fortifications and only had to hold there for a turn or two. Maybe there's a delay in the door closing of a turn or two? Give the guardsmen a chance to shine.
Also, in the first scenario, I had no idea where to move the caravans to load them or unload them. You might want to put some images to indicate where they're supposed to go.
Also, in the fourth scenario, the Dwarvish Smith is invisible!
It's fun playing as the dwarves finally!

Yeah, its, um, not balanced yet. . I'll work on it this weekend.aelius wrote:I like the new second scenario a lot. Playing on medium it might have been too easy. OK. I'll have a signpost, and when you move within one hex of it they unload.aelius wrote:Also, in the first scenario, I had no idea where to move the caravans to load them or unload them. You might want to put some images to indicate where they're supposed to go.
Yeah, I don't have graphics for him yet. I'm going to shadow's thread right now to get them.aelius wrote:Also, in the fourth scenario, the Dwarvish Smith is invisible!
Yes, I have also long wanted a dwarves campaign. ;Paelius wrote:It's fun playing as the dwarves finally!

I've releaes 0.1.0, which has some flaws (obviously), but the first two scenarios should be relatively balanced.

Not sure why. Can you reattach file?

Got them. :] This will fix the problem of smiths being invisible in scenario 3.Shadow wrote:Not my day
Question: Why does the smith (elder1) have ranged attack images, but none of the advancements do?

The first idea was that they all would have a ranged attack and I animated the first level with an ranged attack, well I´ve but it alltogether so you can choose what you need or not
