The reason I will not play someone called player, player1, jouer, spieler..... is because they are usually first time playes who haven't bothered to fill in the name tag and don't know how to play and from my experience leave the game after a couple of turns. Player 1 I think mrchadt gave you a solid reason. Besides if you build up a reputation with this name in the future I promise you that you will have to fight a lot of clones in the future (other players who use "your" name).

Player1 are you a self-harmer? Seriously! People who play wesnoth have nothing against you personally, well I dont, I go on line for a good game and I've even fooled myself into thinking I have friends there. Why don't you just make a reasonably unique name make some friends who play at your level and enjoy the game, it's good fun to do this. There is no need to sabotage yourself, come play wesnoth on the server and enjoy!
