Graphics
- Sprite scaler (xBRZ algorithm) (There were vaguely relevant emails also.) Currently almost done but not quite. (iceiceice)
Misc
- Total conversion and mod support (fabi)

Spoiler:Note that I'm not sure if I actually plan to develop this beyond allowing bots for mp unit tests, and for hosting experimental C++ AIs. I had ideas at some point that people might want to write plugins for the executable in lua, bind them to external lua / C libs, and distribute this as an add-on... the design is extensible in that manner but I'm not sure if I actually want to enable that and support it. It might be better to wait until there is a compelling usecase.
- Pathfinding / tunnels upgrade (iceiceice)
Spoiler:I have some ideas to change the way our pathfinding module works -- I think it might be better to use a dynamic data structure which effectively caches the shortest path trees obtained from pathfinding calculations. It might be a way to speed up AI calculations, and its an opportunity to add some features and fix some bugs related to the "tunnels" feature as well.
- Automatically download needed add-ons in mp lobby based on dependencies (github) (iceiceice)
WML
- Tooltip support [label] (fabi)
- Lua random map generation(iceiceice) This is basically finished modulo bugs.
